Anger
Doubt
Doubt doesn't always show up as a feeling we can easily identify. We might describe ourselves as overthinkers, say we struggle to make decisions, or find ourselves second-guessing everything we do. We might procrastinate, question our abilities or feel like we're not quite good enough, even when there's little evidence to support that feeling.
Sometimes, we analyse things over and over before taking the next step. We can get caught in a cycle of questioning, analysing and reconsidering, going around in circles, feeling unsure and fearful.
Even though they may be trying to protect us from discomfort, they can also keep us from moving towards what we want.
In our sessions, we'll explore this more deeply: how doubt shows up in your life, how these automatic responses have developed, how they're holding you back and what you'd like instead.
The aim is to help you step out of that cycle, loosen the grip of these familiar responses and create space for greater self-trust — so you can make decisions, take action and move forward with more confidence in yourself.
Fear
Fear can show up in so many areas of our lives. Sometimes, if constant, it can be so automatic that it becomes a habit. I remember telling a friend years ago, “I'm so tired of feeling afraid.” Fear had become my go-to emotion for almost anything that happened. And it could go far and deep — my imagination would run wild, coming up with all sorts of scenarios that, in turn, fed the fear even further.
Fear can have many faces. It can show up as fear of judgement, rejection or failure. Fear of being misunderstood, isolated or not having enough. Fear of getting hurt or even of success.
Sometimes, fear is obvious. Other times, it sits quietly in the background, influencing our thoughts, decisions and behaviours without us even realising it.
Little by little, fear can start to shape the choices we make and the life we allow (or not) ourselves to live.
In our sessions, we'll explore how fear shows up for you, what's underneath it and how it's influencing your thoughts, feelings and responses.
Together, we'll work towards loosening its hold, so you can feel more comfortable facing what comes your way and have more freedom to choose how you respond.
My Approach
Curiosity
Curiosity is at the heart of this approach. It's an open, light state of mind that creates space for exploration.
From your side, it's about being open to getting to know yourself a little better, without judgement, and allowing things to unfold.
From my side, I'm fully focused on what's going on for you and what comes up along the way, gently guiding our exploration with thoughtful prompts and observations.
Together, we get curious about what's there, what it might be connected to and what we can discover.

Allowance
Sometimes, we tell ourselves we shouldn't feel a certain way, think certain things or express what's really going on inside. We judge ourselves, try to find reasons not to feel what we're feeling, or push it away.
During our sessions, you have permission to let those feelings and thoughts be there, without having to justify them or make them acceptable first. You can allow yourself to express what you need to express, even the things you might normally keep to yourself.
After all, what you resist, persists. When we stop fighting what we're feeling, we create space for the emotional intensity to be released.
I'm here as a compassionate witness, especially when self-judgement keeps taking over. So this becomes a beautiful process of allowing yourself to feel, express and release what you've been holding inside.
Space
Sometimes, emotions can feel so overwhelming that they leave little room for anything else. They can feel heavy, taking up so much space inside that it's difficult to see beyond them.
As that emotional intensity eases, you can begin to find some breathing space. A little distance from what you're experiencing can help you see things more clearly, understand what's going on beneath the surface and recognise what you might want to change.
Rather than constantly managing what's showing up on the surface, you can begin to explore things at a deeper level. From there, you have more room to make sense of your experiences and make conscious choices about how you want to think, feel and respond.

Detachment
Once we've created space, we can begin to see beyond what happened and explore the connections we've made, the meanings we've attached and the emotions we've associated with it.
As we untangle what's been mixed together, we can begin to loosen those connections, detaching the meanings, the impact, the influence and the emotional charge they carry.
You can begin to let go of what no longer serves you and move away from familiar triggers and old patterns, so they no longer have the same hold over you. The memory may still be there, but it can become something you remember rather than something that pulls you back into the same feelings or reactions.
This opens up more choices in how you behave, the decisions you make and the way you respond, allowing you to move towards what you want today.
Release
We can end up spending a lot of energy keeping things bottled up, pushing feelings down or trying not to think about something — especially when self-judgement takes over. There's an effort involved in keeping it all contained, and that can be heavy and exhausting. (Speaking from personal experience here too.)
Release isn't about diving into things blindly or being swept away by your emotions. In our sessions, we create a space where you can gently work with what's coming up.
It also doesn't mean describing everything in detail or sharing anything you're not comfortable sharing.
It's about bringing lightness to the moment. It's about knowing you can allow those emotions to be there. You can talk, feel or share, in whatever way feels right for you. There's no right or wrong way. What matters is being present and open to what comes up.
And I'm here to share that space with you.

Identity
As you release what you've been carrying and loosen the patterns, meanings and emotional connections that have been shaping your responses, things can begin to shift. You start to see yourself differently, make different choices and respond in new ways.
And as these changes take place, they become part of who you are. You grow into a new version of yourself, one that feels more aligned with who you want to be and how you want to live.
What then?
When some of that emotional weight lifts, you can begin to feel lighter, calmer and clearer. It's like the fog starts to dissipate, allowing you to see things more clearly, look ahead and make sense of what's happening without everything feeling so overwhelming.
For me, that was one of the biggest changes. I wasn't carrying the same heaviness around, and things that once felt intense didn't have quite the same emotional grip on me.
And when that intensity eases, you have more room to respond differently. When something happens, it doesn't necessarily push the same buttons or trigger the same automatic reactions. You can pause, take things in and decide how you want to respond, rather than being swept up in the moment.
Over time, this can also create space to build a kinder relationship with yourself. You can begin to develop new ways of responding, new perspectives and new ways of approaching life.
It's not about never feeling anger, doubt or fear again. It's about no longer carrying quite so much of their weight, so you can think more clearly, feel calmer and move through life with greater ease.
